In the spring of 2023, I started experiencing strange symptoms—heart palpitations, anxiety, and an inability to focus. Despite visiting multiple doctors, I was left with no answers and a growing concern for my health. I begged my doctor and she grudgingly sent me to a specialist, who refused to help me because she was "too busy with people with real problems". I felt alone, frustrated, and unsure of what to do next.
As I searched for solutions, I discovered a health platform promoting wearables and Ketogenic diets. While these diets were effective for some, after 6 months they led to a significant increase in my LDL cholesterol and worsened my overall health. Realizing that the advice I was following was merely treating symptoms rather than addressing the root cause, I knew I needed to take matters into my own hands. I dove deep into research, exploring the science of human metabolism, chrononutrition and gut health, testing every possible app and diagnostic tool.
After a year of rigorous experimentation and a highly personalized adaptive protocol, I finally restored my health. No more restrictive diets—I felt balanced, energized, and truly at my peak.
This journey opened my eyes to the flaws in our healthcare system, where preventative care feels like a luxury rather than a right. I discovered that many others, like me, were unaware of their metabolic health issues despite appearing fit and healthy.
In people with prediabetes some of the long-term damage to the blood vessels, heart, and kidneys may already be starting. If left untreated this develops into diabetes or in the worst case a major cardiac event like a heart attack, yet, the medical system is not set up for prevention – there are simply not enough trained medical professionals to provide personalized timely care to each individual.
Having worked in the AI space for two decades, I knew AI is the key to changing this narrative. AI can see what the human eye can't and read the warning signs years before they manifest into a disease. AI can scale human knowledge infinitely and cheaply.
Paired with the latest scientific discoveries, advancements in wearable technology, and an understanding of the gut microbiome, AI will give us a world of diagnostic tools and personalized treatments for everyone, where not only testing becomes more accessible, but we're able to achieve faster and more reliable health outcomes long before it's too late.
